HERBAL SALVE - ST. JOHN'S WORT
St. John's wort (Hypericum perforatum) is a flowering plant named for its bright yellow flowers that were said to bloom for the first time around St. John the Baptist's birthday. The word "wort" means "plant" in Old English.
Little Urban Apothecary has sun-infused our flowers into a cold pressed olive oil. Topically it can be used as a healing agent and rub for neuralgia.
We've added our own therapeutic blend of essential oils together to aid in the relief of joint pain, sciatica, nerve pain, broken bones, bruises, arthritic joints, sprains and muscle injuries.
